Peer review process

Peer Review and Submission Timeline

  • Continuous Submission: The journal accepts original articles on a rolling basis, with no specific deadlines or call-for-papers dates.
  • Manuscript Submission: Authors must submit their manuscripts through the journal's OJS platform after registering. It is recommended that all co-authors also register on the platform.
  • Initial Screening: Upon submission, the editorial team will conduct an initial screening to ensure the manuscript adheres to the journal's "Guidelines and Instructions for Authors." Manuscripts that do not comply with these guidelines may be rejected at this stage. Authors will be notified of the committee's decision within two weeks.
  • Peer Review Process: Once the manuscript meets the editorial guidelines, it will be anonymized and sent to two peer reviewers who specialize in topics related to the manuscript.
  • Double-Blind Review: The double-blind review process will be completed within four months. Authors will be notified of the reviewers' evaluations and the final decision regarding publication via the OJS platform.
  • Extended Review Period: If the review process is delayed due to circumstances beyond the journal's control, the authors will be promptly informed.
  • Reviewer Decisions: The possible outcomes of the peer review are as follows: a. Publishable without revisions. b. Minor revisions required: The author has 15 days to address the reviewers' comments. c. Major revisions required: The author has one month to address the reviewers' comments. d. Not publishable.
  • Final Decision: The Editor will make the final decision regarding the publication of the article, based on the reviewers' recommendations. The decision, along with the anonymized reviewer feedback, will be communicated to the authors.
  • Galley Proofs: Once the article has been edited, the galley proofs will be sent to the corresponding author for final review.
