Anti-plagiarism policy
At JBF we consider that adopting the ideas and work of others without acknowledging their authorship is unfair, unethical and dishonest. Copying a sentence from another manuscript, or even from one's own previous work, without the corresponding citation, is considered plagiarism, as it involves using others’ words as one’s own.
The Editorial Team has full authority to reject the review of a submitted manuscript if any degree of plagiarism is detected, and may even cancel publication if a plagiarism claim is received. The journal uses iThenticate's Turnitin tool, developed to detect this type of malpractice.
